Adding a social media account
The first thing you would want to do is add a social media account. Visit yourdomain.com/social-accounts and choose from one of the platforms twitter, facebook or instagram
Then follow the on-screen instructions
Once you’ve added a few accounts for multiple clients it helps to group them together. Visit yourdomain.com/social-accounts and click on manage groups.
On the left you can add the names of your clients
Then tick the accounts you want to attach to the client on the right.
If you like, you can also click on the “Add client” button to add your clients with their own name as the group.
Adding clients gives you the added benefit of letting them login to the dashboard in order to sync their own accounts (and soon have the ability to approve posts). Below is a preview of the client panel:
Configuring your schedule
It’s a hassle to keep adding scheduled dates and times with every post. Warbler lets you post to a queue that will post as pre-defined times. For example you can set a schedule to post everyday Monday to Friday at the times 11:05, 15:37 and 21:55. Then you can keep adding posts without worrying about the time they need to be sent at.
Again visit yourdomain.com/social-accounts and find the social media account you want to use. Click on “Schedule” to set your preferred posting times.
Now you can simple select the days (left) and enter the times (right) you want to post at. In the event that you want a different time for a specific post in the future you may enter a custom time when posting your content.
Posting content is just as straight forward. To start off with all you need to do is select the client(s) and account(s) that you want to post to. Enter your message and click “Add photo or video” to post some media content. There’s also a little calendar icon for those posts that need a custom date. If you want to fine tune it for each platform then you can also do that by checking the relevant checkbox.
